MEC Maintenance Clinic 2009

The 2009 edition of the MEC maintenance clinic will begin on February 1, 2009. We are planning on 4 to 6 sessions of two hours in length. The sessions will start with the basics like changing a flat and end with advanced tasks like servicing your headset and bottom bracket. Stay tuned for more information.

NEW DEVELOPMENTS!


  • There will be at least 6 classes and possibly 7 or 8 (with 8 being a bike fit class).
  • Each class will last two hours.
  • Classes will be held at Preferred Plumbing (the best plumber in O'Fallon) 121 Behrens.
  • Classes will start on Sunday, February 8th and run through March 22nd from 3-5 p.m.
  • Class size is limited to 6 people. If there is enough interest/overflow the class will repeat on the following Wednesday from 6:30-8:30p.m.
  • Minimum class size is 4 people, if 4 do not sign up then the class will be canceled.
  • The price for members is $10/class and $15/class for non-members.
  • Classes will start out with the basics and progress to more difficult, building on prior classes.

If you have not yet registered, now would be a good time to do it. The first two classes have filled for Sunday but there are still slots for the Wednesday night classes. Send those registrations NOW!
