For any of you possibly riding up to Edwardsville either of these Saturdays.....

The Cyclery (right along the trail - near Home Depot and QuikTrip) is having a warehouse sale both weekends. Here is the link: http://thecyclerys.com/.

There is some interest in starting tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. The e-mail indicates 6:00 but that is for the TdD Century group. If you want to start at 7:00 please make a post.
The century group is riding the first half of the ride on the same Edwardsville loop.

Just writing to see who may be doing the century ride on Saturday to St. Genevive. I'm interested and may have one other person interested in going.

Thanks!

Yes, I am doing a century tomorrow, July 19th.

My average speed on a solo century is 17 mph. I won't want to go any slower than that.

I can draft at about 20 mph for the entire 100 miles.

I'll need at least two rest stops at approx. 40 and 80 miles.

If I can't find anyone to ride the whole thing with which looks to be the case right now, I'll just ride for an hour before and an hour after the New Athens ride.

What time does the New Athens ride leave the YMCA?

I now see that it leaves at 7 a.m.

I'll probably just go along with the rest for the 60 miler, riding before and after.

If you want to ride before I'll be leaving about 5:45.
