Are we ready? If we leave from the O'Fallon Y and head to St. Genevieve the round trip is 117 but if we leave from the SWIC Y then we drop 10 miles. I don't mind the extra 10 because I would probably ride to the ride anyway. Maybe we could do a 2nd start for those who want to ride from SWIC.
I don't have any SAG arranged but might be able to. Does anyone know someone who wants to SAG.
As I mentioned in another post, I am not out to make a sub five hour century but I am fine if others want to.
Right now the forecast is fantastic. If the wind is a factor it would likely be a cross wind.
Let's hear from the rest of the gang.

I'm in for the century but vote for the 107 instead of 117. But heck, I'd go the extra 10 if that's what people want. It just might take a while longer!

I'm in for the Century + as long as we maintain a steady, reasonable pace (I know . . . reasonable is in the eye of the beholder (or rider in this case)). 117 is OK with me. Have you decided on a start time -- earlier is better.

Is it a good thing or bad thing that few people are replying?
How about a 6:15 departure for the "B" group and a 6:30 departure for the "A" group. I will lead the "B" group and Brady has agreed to lead the "A" group. If anyone says they want to ride from the SWIC Y then both groups can swing through the SWIC campus and pick them up. But to maintain a good pace it won't be a rest stop. Here is a map.

I'm having second thoughts. I have a couple of other options now. One is a ride to Carlyle, 70 miles. Another is a 50 miler to Highland. Here is the Highland route:

Here's our ride, another metric century to Grant Fork and Highland.
One of these days we're gonna get that St. Genevieve century.
Check it out.
